We at NEW GNOSIS PUBLICATIONS aim to contribute directly in taking apart the structures of both fundamentalist religions and materialist sciences, consumerist culture and market economics, biological medicine and pharmaceutical psychiatry - subverting both the 'New World Order' of global capitalism and the superficial nostrums of 'New Age' spirituality. The books of Peter Wilberg - made available for the first time here - serve this aim well. We believe that there are no books available today that equal them in their originality, depth and breadth of thought - or in the ground-breaking advancements they offer in areas as diverse as physics and psychology, politics and philosophy. We live at a time when humanity is quite literally "in flight from thinking" (Martin Heidegger), a time when education has succumbed to 'dumbing down' and the deepening of knowledge is no longer associated with the search for Truth but only with the advancement of economically profitable Technologies. As a result the original thinker has become an endangered species, and thinking as such is gravely endangered. That is why we are committed to the continued dissemination of deep and original thinking based on knowledge in its oldest and deepest sense - living and life-enriching inner knowledge or Gnosis. |
